VANESSA BRUNO!!!!!!!
It's a gorgeous delivery! Kristin, Julia and I named one dress the "Gothic Fairy Dress"... an amazing strapless, drapey, liquid, long grey chiffon number, and another the "Poison Ivy Dress"... a drop waist forest green jersey number covered in draped ruffles... mouthwatering.
There is the most amazing charcoal grey jacket with sharp edged layers that is really closer to a cape (oh, the drama!!), a really cute, every day kind of dress: grey, long sleeve mini dress with a fitted hip. There's an adorable light grey wool little a-line skirt with a black tuxedo stripe down the side... an ivory short sleeve crew neck silk top with unfinished chiffon strips radiating out from the neckline... and the sweater you wish you were wearing today: a very well executed navy blue double breasted cable knit cardigan.
And finally, a runway showstopper: the pink sleeveless top with the long fringe scarf attached to it... GORGEOUS!

INHABIT!!!!
I am INHABIT-ing a land where every single garment is calling my name. I want to INHABIT these sweaters and never take them off, not even to wash them (gross. even for a joke)... I'm just imagining what the girls were thinking when the named the end all, be all knitwear company that makes our clients salivate like we were baking chocolate cake in here all day instead of selling clothes.
The contents of this box of heaven:
1. A cozy, yummy(yes, its edible), sexy long bodied, fitted 100% cashmere turtleneck.
2. A soft, lightweight 100% cotton white ribbed tank.
3. A cozy, sexy 100% cashmere v-neck cardigan with big buttons and ribbing trimming the neckline and down the front. The colour is near impossible to describe... its a (GORGEOUS) cross between forest green and turquoise. Perhaps a little bit like the colour of the ocean in this part of the world when you open your eyes underwater.
4. A very fine, soft, lightweight 100% cotton crew neck long sleeve knit in a lovely shade of taupe.
5. A vest/ sleeveless cardigan sweater in 52% cashmere, 48% cotton. Buttons down the front, diagonal herringbone-ish stripes in black and grey, a drawstring bottom, and a big cowl-neck-ish collar.
6. A looser weave cardigan in 52% wool, 24% linen and 24% cotton in beige. Its called a pointelle knit... Its a looser cut in the body, a little tie that holds it together in the front and also a tie on the size so you can wear it as a wrap... HOT (but that kind that doesn't look like you're trying)!

ISABEL MARANT!!!
It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood, its a beautiful day in the neighbourhood... you'd wish you were our neighbour just so you could see this Isabel Marant delivery, like, right now!!
Let's leave Mr. Rogers out of this though.
Kristin already took the best stuff in the smallest size. Her faves: the boucle mini skirt in tones of grey (it has a matching collarless short matching jacket: both of which I think are AMAZING); the short lightweight merino wool cardigan in grey (and the charcoal, longer, baggier cousin of it is also quite fantastic); the cream coloured ribbed supersoft wool sweater (in my mind its like a sexier luxe version of a cabin sweater).
My faves are the tonal grey boucle suit, the black wool mini dress with a 3/4 sleeve and really cool gathering detail into the waist seam, and of course, the grey cardigans.
The infamous "our friend" loves the pinstripe menswear inspired vest which is so incredibly well cut (which she layers with the light grey wool kangaroo pocket shirt-soooooo cool), the silk burlap oversize plaid shirt in red and beige (which no description will do justice to), and of course, the grey cardigans.
I've skimmed over lots of other total hits from this delivery: the red corduroy jacket, the olive corduroy mini skirt, a great embriodered scarf, a really fantastic black above the knee skirt, a mini check shirt with really cool button closure detail... and more.
The faithful WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. It's an absolutely excellent delivery!!!

LUTZ & PATMOS
Mouthwatering sweaters... you'll be BEGGING us to take your money!
Some chunkier: two really sexy (one taupe, one beige) shorter styles in merino wool, one black longer merino wool number with a big safety pin closure which is so soft cozy and amazing. A really great toque and scarf with fringe in the same chunky merino wool, both are offered in black and olive green.
Some lighter: a delicious soft knit: ribbed 70% cotton 30% silk. It's so fine, so gorgeous! We have a turtleneck and a v-neck tank (with 1 cm wide shoulder straps).
Kristin Dunst did one sweater for them this season as a guest designer, and it is quite amazing (she calls it the Omi & Opi sweater because its coziness reminds her of her grandparents in Germany)! Its a black, crew neck, long sleeve, super long body, 70% alpaca 30% merino wool, medium weight chunky knit sweater (my favorite kind of peice: that sexy without looking like you are trying to be sexy look).
Finally, there are two charcoal grey alpaca/merino blend cardigans: one waist length cape style, one hip length boyfriend cardigan style.
One of Lutz & Patmos' claim to fame is thier eco-friendly approach to manufacturing (which really makes a girl feel like she's doing something good for the world when she's really just shopping). This excerpt is from thier line sheet:
"ECO CONCEPT: 100% environmentally friendly alpaca and wool from peru/ peru is well known for its natural breeding of alpaca and sheep/ animals are cared for in natural grassland free from polluting agents/ animals feed on native grasses/ sheep are not treated with antibiotics or hormones/ no chemical contaminants used in fibre production process/ modern combing industry leaves no toxic solvent residue/ azo free dye process leaves fibres free of potential carginogens/ yarn is knit where spun to save on fuel charges for shipping and supports the local economy/ corozo buttons are produced in nearby ecuador/ garments are handknit or handloomed by a group of local artisans"
I don't know about you, but that impresses me A LOT.
