Outfit(s) of the Day!!

An amazing sweater from Enfold and an amazing tweed coat from Jean Paul Knott - done together but in two totally different outfits with the everyday in mind. 
First, here with R13's Kate Skinny jean in Black Orion. It's a wash we love because it has so much texture! It adds a lot of dimension no matter what it's paired back to, which is what makes it so good with something really simple. The Isabel Marant booties come with both red and black laces - but of course here we absolutely HAD to do the red - so much fun!!   

 

This gorgeous coat from Jean Paul Knott is just one size fits all - and I love it on EVERYONE!! I have a lifelong love of tweed - I find it to be so quintessentially Fall. Not only that - I find it wears like a neutral - there is very little I don't love with it. 

I love tweed with more masculine looks, I love it with more feminine looks... 

This Enfold sweater looks just as cute with a skirt I think (this particular one is Vanessa Bruno and on sale 70% off) - and these riding boots from Sartore are a timeless wardrobe staple. They are a nice slim fit in the calf and look stunning with skirts and dresses.   

Casual - But Beautiful! New Outfit Ideas!

We love the idea of taking an all-light colour palette and putting one pop of colour with it! This gorgeous light grey coat from ENFOLD, an ivory cashmere Nili Lotan sweater, and a pair of white cropped jean from R13 (the Kate Cropped in White Orion) with white Common Projects sneakers sets off this bordeaux coloured bag from PB0110 so nicely! It feels (and looks) really luxurious, but when it comes down to it - it's easy to wear (and comfortable too). 

Or you can go a totally different route - by taking the same jeans, sweater and sneakers and doing a coloured coat like this beautiful puffer from Isabel Marant! It features her signature full sleeve silhouette, but done in a laid back, casual way that is easy to grab on your way out the door.  One of the best things about Fall is the rich colour palette - and this boiled cashmere/wool blend scarf from Faliero Sarti in the terracotta pink is out of this world with the forest green I think!!  

Rebel without a cause vibes for the weekend! The Common Projects high tops are a wardrobe staple - I love them with cropped jeans (R13 Kate Skinny in black orion shown here) and a leather jacket from Isabel Marant. Pop Nili Lotan's cashmere hoodie underneath to make some cozy vibes! The bordeaux scarf from the latest Faliero Sarti shipment adds just the right something to it if the day is a bit on the cooler side.  

Outfit of the Day

Ok well, it's more than one outfit, but it started with an outfit. This gorgeous raw silk swingy top and matching culottes from ENFOLD. When I saw this in the showroom in Paris I fell IN LOVE!!! I fell so in love!! I loved the elegance of it. I loved how it was at the same time such a different silhouette - so modern and interesting and cool - but also something really chic. 

The top sells for $635 and the culottes for $730. 

But the culottes are the last pair now in a size 36 (or about a size 2), and we wanted to play around with silhouettes - and since this gorgeous Isabel Marant printed one shoulder top is also the last one in a size 36 (about a size 2), we thought this would be an absolutely perfect way to style it too! Slides are an awesome shoe with culottes, and these Helmut Lang one's are so statement!!!! 

But the crop silhouette of the top looks so gorgeous with jeans too - high waisted black ones and heels for a super long leg silhouettte, and with lighter jeans and something flat for an amazing day look.  

Here we paired it with one of our beautiful blazers from Forte.Forte - the texture on texture play of the raw silk of the top and the cotton and raw silk blend of the blazer is beyond gorgeous together!

But we loved it with the shorts here from Forte.Forte too - a totally different look - so Italian vacation!!

This lovely little linen striped top from Nicholson&Nicholson is forever! The grey jean is a personal favourite - and I love it here for the tonality.  $385 and still available in size 36, 38 and 42. 

Isabel Marant's printed silk blouses are always a good idea! So timeless and so fun! This cut is a favourite of ours - so much so that we have it in a few colours - which all look so different! $535 and still available in size 34, 36 and 40 in this colour! 

This beautiful cotton/linen blend top from Forte.Forte is such a perfect shape for putting under things, or for flattering the shoulders all by itself. We liked it so much we bought it in natural as well as this red! $350 and still available in all the sizes.

Day Dresses You Need Now!

One really easy way to do the everyday in the Spring is to pop mid-weight dress on with a pair of sneakers or ankle boots - here are some of our favourites in the store right now! Then as it warms up a bit you can just sub your closed toe shoes out for a cute pair of sandals! Isabel Marant cotton chambray shirtdress - $325 and still available in size 38, 42 and 44. 

Co's swingy dresses like this cotton/linen blend one are both really fun and very comfortable! Great with sandals in the summer, but the above the knee length means that the Common Projects high tops would be great too!  $725 and still available in sizes XS, S and L.

A navy blue silk dress with eyelet detail from Vanessa Bruno ATHE. Wear it with pumps and a little blazer on top for a meeting, with a pair of Sartore or Isabel Marant ankle boots and an oversize cardigan for a more "Paris" look, and sandals for something pretty come warmer weather!
