Day Dresses You Need Now!

One really easy way to do the everyday in the Spring is to pop mid-weight dress on with a pair of sneakers or ankle boots - here are some of our favourites in the store right now! Then as it warms up a bit you can just sub your closed toe shoes out for a cute pair of sandals! Isabel Marant cotton chambray shirtdress - $325 and still available in size 38, 42 and 44. 

Co's swingy dresses like this cotton/linen blend one are both really fun and very comfortable! Great with sandals in the summer, but the above the knee length means that the Common Projects high tops would be great too!  $725 and still available in sizes XS, S and L. 

ENFOLD - the Japanese line that specializes in modern shapes and volume - designs some amazing looser dress shapes like this beautiful green number. Do it with low lace up Common Projects for a very Japanese vibe. Last one size 40 (about a size Large), $848. 

Also from ENFOLD, this almost sweater-like grey cotton/wool blend dress will keep you warm and feel great on a chillier day. Last one: $890 and still available in size 38 (about a size S/M)

Easy and beautiful - we love a good cotton poplin dress  - we only wish they were easier to find. This merlot coloured number from Pomandere is such a go-to, for travelling, for everyday, for all the time. $385 and still available in size 38-46 (or about a size S-XL). 

A navy blue silk dress with eyelet detail from Vanessa Bruno ATHE. Wear it with pumps and a little blazer on top for a meeting, with a pair of Sartore or Isabel Marant ankle boots and an oversize cardigan for a more "Paris" look, and sandals for something pretty come warmer weather! 

The dress above from Nicholson and Nicholson is a staff favourite for the simple ease of it all. A lovely light cotton poplin - but the thing is there is only one left - size 40 - or about a M/L. 

Isabel Marant Etoile navy printed silk dress is also just easy, easy, easy! Everyday with ankle boots, or high tops, or on vacation in any locale. This is such a versatile little number. $735 and still available in sizes 36-44. 

This raw silk ivory dress Isabel Marant Etoile features a lovely little studs detail on the top, and has such a beautiful drape and movement. The honey brown ankle boots or the Isabel Marant Dicker boot would be absolutely perfect with it until the temps hit 20+! $565 and still available in size 34-38.

Spring Jackets You Need Now!

This gorgeous cotton trench from JOSEPH has a timelessness to it that we love - a sure companion in every city from Paris to London to Vancouver.  $1330 and still available in size 34 - 40. 

We are obsessed with this gorgeous cotton linen blend jacket from Pomandere. Ivory and white is so fresh together but it also looks pretty amazing on top of Isabel Marant's printed silk tops, and with all black underneath. $690 and still available in size 38, 40 and 46 (or about a size XS, S and XL).

Japanese line ENFOLD is a new favourite around here for their modern, architectural shapes. This cotton trench above is a swingy dream from heaven! $1240 and still available in size 36 and 40 (or about a size small and medium). Also from ENFOLD, this stunning navy number is simultaneously very simple and very interesting. $1080 and still available in size 36 - 40. Isabel Marant's prints are consistently amazing, and this season was no exception. If you love prints as much as we do, this quilted cotton coat is a must-have! All the fun of wearing a printed top, but will insulate you better than the average silk top. $1415 and available in size 34 - 40 (but fits generously).  

A swingy coat with some dramatic volume from ENFOLD, it is one of those that is much better on! A must try! $1150 and still available in size 36 (which fits sizes S-XL). Another favourite Japanese company, Nicholson and Nicholson! This is one of our favourite shapes from this company, but the first time we have seen it from them in cotton (a coated cotton to be exact). In case you left your umbrella at home, a hood to keep the rain off! $900 and still available in sizes 36 and 42. Crinkled cotton/linen blend trench from ENFOLD! $1055 and still available in sizes 36 and 38.

From Isabel Marant, this tweed wool coat has a more ladylike feel, but with the French-cool factor that makes us fall in love! $1450 and still available in size 36, 38 and 40.  

Nili Lotan has been absolutely NAILING it these days! That every day pulled-together casual vibe that she specializes in is exactly our lifestyle, and I don't think we're the only ones. This nylon trench is easy, light and so gorgeous. $1295 and last one! size XS.

Helmut Lang cotton cashmere pullover with button sleeve detail - meaning you can undo all the buttons for a dramatic cold shoulder vibe! $535 and still available in sizes XS, M and L. 

This shorter bodied linen knit from Pomandere is the perfect warmer weather weight. And the little slit detail in the front is handy if your going to tuck a bit of it in to a skirt or higher waisted pants. $300 and available in size 40 - 46 (or about a size S - XL).
