A big day for us here can include any of the following events: a cute boy coming into the store, discovering the perfect combination of things we initially didn't think to put together, OR an ISABEL MARANT DELIVERY!!! Today, it was the latter. Nice and late in the day, so we were caught entirely by suprise!

We haven't had a chance to take any proper pictures yet, so this is basically just to tempt you into the store...

Hache!!! I love this line! 2nd Spring 2010 Delivery!

Ahhhh... this Italian line is my absolute favourite. I love that we are the only ones carrying it, but I also don't understand why they haven't taken over the world. Their pieces are amazing!

This stunning cotton dress couldn't be any better if it tried.

My paralyzing obsession with linen continues: today it finds a physical manifestation in these scarves.

These two jackets in the same fabric from this delivery are both really special, an unusual sporty soft synthetic material that hold its shape really well. We couldn't decide if this shorter style looked better open or shut, so here are photos of it both ways!

The latest belt from the producers of the best belts EVER. 1.5" in width, meant to be worn high on the waist, but a bigger size and worn on the hips in your jeans looks great too.

The longer of the two jackets (also amazing), we couldn't decide if we thought it was cooler belted or unbelted, so here it is both ways.

Alexander Wang!! 1st Ready-to-Wear Delivery of Spring 2010!!

Can this golden boy do no wrong?! Seriously, Alex, you make really hot clothes.

I'm very into these merino wool knits he is doing right now. VERY into them. Look at the hemline of this dress! I love things that are longer in the back. All the benefits of a short hemline, but none of the awkwardness when you drop something.

Sexy merino wool tunic gorgeousness. Slit on the leg: so hot.

You have to admit, this cardigan is pretty incredible.

Army green. THE colour for right now. And this dress is the perfect combination of easy to wear, and damn hot.

Hanii Y: 2nd Spring Delivery!!

The Korean husband wife duo behind Hanii Y are positively brilliant: this line always makes the most adorable, wearable, feminine things!

This cotton dress, done in the best shade of purple, is such a great warmer-weather go-anywhere little number.

At the time of writing, we have only one left of this adorable charcoal silk top with ruffles (a Hanii Y signature).

Gorgeous linen blend jacket, in (what I think is) the best shade of blue of all time.

Printed jersey: perhaps nothing travels better. Virtually wrinkle-proof, comfortable, and can take you from wandering museums to dinner with a simple change of footwear!

HELMUT LANG!!!!

This is our very first season with Helmut Lang, and we are so thrilled. Every single one of us that works here is dying for it! We have had quite a bit come in, but here are a few teasers.

This double zip cotton/linen motorcycle jacket is unbelievable. It is soooo hot. I love the mesh cutouts (pictured below with nothing underneath).

This modal sleeveless cowl neck with drape front cardigan in the same fabric, can be worn together, or paired back with just about anything else!

Lutz & Patmos

This is called 'cashmere tissue', which is actually a very apt name for this fabric, which is basically unbelievable.

Ahh, linen, my drug of choice. Long cardigan. AMAZING.

Again with the linen knit. Very flattering ruched-front design, and done in a lovely shade of navy blue no less!

Beautiful rounded silhouette, done in very soft organic cotton.

The people behind John Patrick ORGANIC are the coolest people I have ever met. Listening to them talk about their line is just music to my ears. Hearing them talk about ethical and ecological manufacturing is really just awe-inspiring. And kudos to them; they produce an amazing product, and do it in a way that is very, very good to our world.

This trench is made of recycled nylon. Such a cool feel to the touch. The fabulous striped tank underneath is made of 100% organic cotton, from their organic cotton farm in the jungle in Peru. Seriously. How cool is that?

This is the biggest delivery of T by Alexander Wang we have EVER had! A lot of repeats of the classic faves: the baggy racerback tank, the one pocket tee, and quite a few new styles too!

Rag & Bone - Our FIRST Delivery Ever!!

Pow! This shirt and blazer (aka 'the Shirred Boyfriend shirt' and 'the Boston coat') are the "IT" pieces for Spring. Lightweight and long, both pieces have pockets, and wear really easy with anything. Pair the shirt with some skinnies or throw the blazer overtop a floor length jersey summer dress.




Cute as can be, cropped stripe top. Another must have in the stripe department for Spring.

Named 'the Highland Coat', it should be renamed 'the Best Military Style Jacket I Have Ever Seen in Real Life'. Looks just as good open as it does shut, stunning rounded hemline, and done in a gorgeous black cotton. LOVE IT!
