Helmut Lang - Just the Right Amount of Bad

The leather vest has got me all inspired to go be a little more bad ass in the world... it's amazing how an article of clothing can change your whole life. The racerback cut in the back looks amazing layered on top of this draped jersey top - the racerbacks mimick eachother perfectly! 

The leather leggings in this shipment are really different than anything else we've seen. We really wanted you to see a good close up of the embossing - reminds me of lizard! Such gorgeous texture... really subtle, and really gorgeous! 

We always love the mesh knit tops from Helmut... he has done similar things in the past - and we think this execution is one of the best ever. The black and white makes it really easy to pair back to anything - plus it looks really damn good! 

We just had to show you the detail on the black leggings too... so amazing!

We've been looking for the perfect collarless black leather jacket... and here it is! Helmut Lang, seriously, I love you man. 

This is a really interesting combo materials dress, a nice mix between everyday wear and a bit dressy - could go either way. 

Robert Clergerie - Some Very Necessary Footwear

Robert Clergerie was kind enough to make us the perfect spring/summer platform wedge sandal - in black suede with mesh insert detail. He must have been thinking of us girls who are on our feet all day - they are so lightweight and comfortable!!

These  fabulous black suede cage sandals are three very nice things to have in a high heel: timeless, beautifully made and extremely comfortable!   

Isabel Marant - 2nd Spring Delivery!!!

The thing about the OFIRA crepe tunic (here styled back to Helmut Lang textured leather leggings and ankle booties) that makes it so amazing is this incredible shade of red! I always say that a well-rounded closet has at least one jaw-dropping red in it...

A goddess dress is one of those things that really has its hooks in me... I'll love it as long as I live - it's an icon! Isabel Marant calls it the FLY dress, but APHRODITE feels a little closer to home. 

Speak of goddess names... the VENUS dress features one of a few absolutely jaw-dropping prints she did for the spring. This is almost more 'art' than it is 'print'... 

I wish I had a video of the FEZA skirt on, the movement in the fabric is mesmerizing as if it's in a slow-motion movie... just gorgeous. It almost floats around you when you walk because it's so light. The length is so elegant... pair it back to an interesting flat sandal and one of Isabel's famous linen tees and it might be the most effortless 10 you've ever gotten.  

The ELIS sweater is one of a few of the 100% raw linen sweaters that we picked up 

The raw silk CAJOU hooded dress is one of the owners favourites (but she wears it unbelted which looks just as good if not better). Styled here with Forte.Forte ribbed leggings and the Dicker boots.

Whats so great about a slouchier blazer like the MOLK blazer is that you get all the benefits of the tailored look of a jacket, but with all the comfort of a cardigan.

The linen wrap dress is so easy, and breezy and perfect for the beach! 

Again with the amazing emerald colour! The CHICK dress, a really beautiful ladylike length with a sexy shoulder baring neckline... how perfect is that for a warm-weather occasion?!

It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but the GUMY top has a really fine mesh shoulder and sleeve, and a woven body. Fabulously easy in the heat, but great if you don't necessarily want to show that much bare skin! 

The infamous JENNY boot - we absolutely adore how well this shade of taupe goes back to everything from brights to prints to pastels to a bare leg. Super versatile! 

The super-soft cotton ABUT cropped mesh-knit sweater is one of my favourites this season. All these mesh knits I keep imagining as part of some amazing beach-party outfit on top of a bikini... but in real life we love it as part of a simple yet interesting casual outfit. 

Isabel's basic blazers are sometimes the total home-runs of the delivery. The MARGO blazer is one of those.
