We thought it would be fun to go dancing in it, so we did some twirls. Because that's how we dance.

This cardigan looks much better in real life, but this photograph does do one thing right: show you how cool the hemline is. It is a silk/tencel/viscose blend, and it feels like BUTTER.

Really, really lightweight cotton shorts... incredibly cool, incredibly comfortable. If you don't believe me, I dare you to try them on.

INTRODUCING STEPHANIE JEWELS

Designer Stephanie Giribone started making her amazing gold wire bracelets in 2001 under her label Stephanie Jewels. When they immediately sold out at Colette and the Bon Marche in Paris, she decided to expand her collection to include earrings, necklaces and rings (all done in 14K). She later moved to Marrakesh, where she has been based for a few years now; her designs positively ooze the Moroccan influence. How amazing is it?! I think we should all go to Morocco right now and wear nothing but this jewellery and a tan and a bikini and breezy clothing in cream and white. Who's in?

Inspiration of the Day!

It is most likely completely obvious to everyone by now that I REALLY REALLY want this canvas cotton/linen jacket by BOY by Band of Outsiders. It is a complete mystery to me that it is still available for sale.

Styled here with this really cool asymmetrical drapey silk Gary Graham skirt, that little silk 3.1 Phillip Lim tank that goes with everything, and the only engraved heart padlock that I have ever seen from Anna de Courcy. As a semi-tangent, isn't it sooooo cool that each one of Anna's pieces is created using antiques she picked up in Europe? This engraved heart pendant will be from around the turn of the century...

Simple, chic, elegant, effortless. This amazing navy silk pintucked tunic came in a few weeks ago, and these silk ankle length pants arrived today (along with a few other items from the same designer that are rather amazing). It is the outfit of the day around here, because, dammit, it's excellent.

Even More Helmut Lang!

Helmut Lang. I love you. This is the best silhouette of top I think I have ever seen. Really sexy, really easy to layer, and has a really interesting hemline. Grey silky draped front, jersey back.

This is actually not the same top, they are slightly different. This one is taupe, and is a silk/viscose weave (so slightly heavier) with this fabulous silk chiffon insert through the side and up the back. Awesome!

3.1 Phillip Lim!!

I personally am a very big fan of this nude trend right now (not that Phillip Lim makes it hard to be a fan of anything he does). But still, I love the way he did these nude dresses.

Look at the fabric! And the chiffon detail around the neck! Love it.

Silk with little sparkly thingy's on them. I never know what to call them... diamonds? Obviously not real ones, but looks like them. Very cute anyway.

Love this top with a pair of high waisted black shorts, pants or skirt. A navy/black combination, with that folded silk detail he did on a lot of his runway pieces for the season.
