Spring 2011?!!? Oh thank god, maybe the weather is soon to follow.

Isabel Marant Etoile's fabulously early first delivery of Spring 2011!!! I feel like this is some kind of amazing present for New Year!!!!

Of course, this is not everything we received, but a naughty taster of a few things we got photographs of in a few spare minutes...

Adorable little vest and skirt (love the navy/black combo), paired with these Joseph boots, which, bewilderingly, we have on sale in a size 36 and a 37.

We think fighting may happen over this jacket. Because it's ADORABLE. It is herringbone, as you can hopefully see from the photo, but the fabric is quite rare for this look and weight: 100% linen. A must-see!

Crinkle-y textured shirts are an essential element of any woman's casual-yet-interesting outfit. Unfortunately, we did not buy one million of these, because it is definitely gorgeous enough to warrant it.

Rag & Bone Pre-Spring Delivery!!

I remember the designers of Rag & Bone, when talking about this delivery, said that they wanted items that were very wear-now, and I have to say, they succeeded with flying colours!

We love this washed denim cargo jacket, because it's that easy-to-wear casual for Vancouver, but it's interesting and painfully cool.

We're not sure which colour of this amazingly cozy scarf-shawl hybrid is more amazing... thoughts?

My rant on the Kennington jacket could go on for years! First of all, the leather collar? AMAZING. Second, the gorgeous olive green wool was supplied by a Swiss company called Schoeller, and GET THIS: the fabric is waterproof!!! IT"S WATERPROOF WOOL!!!! Who does that?!?!! AMAZING!!!!! I love you Rag&Bone, you guys are geniuses.

This gorgeous oversize wool sweater has all the appeal of "I stole it from my boyfriend", but it's super soft wool, so you know it was totally made for a woman.

Côté Bastide Candles

The name Côté Bastide loosely translates to "around the house" (but a countryside home in the south). All the fragrances are inspired from a childhood in Provence, the owner's family garden, and her extensive personal travels. The candles are all handmade and beautifully hand packaged in France; the ingredients come from Grasse (the perfume capital of the world), in the south of France. A very elegant, refined and authentic little luxury with an absolutely irresistible charm.

Tilleul, or Lime Tree/ Linden Tree Blossom. A symbol of happiness and faithfulness. A gorgeous subtle scent, with a hint of masculinity. If they weren't all completely mouth watering, I would say it's my favourite.

Lait, or Milk. Reminiscent of sweet cream, fresh, soft and comforting. A very subtle, innocent kind of scent.

Figuier, or Fig Tree. The fragrance is extracted from the crushed leaves, and is both a bit woodsy and a bit floral. And amazing.

Thé Vanille, or Vanilla Tea. A very warm, cozy scent. It's so homey, it could be the perfect scent for the holidays.

Fleurs d'Oranger, or Orange Blossom. This is the one we have burning at the time of writing. I'm completely intoxicated. It is a an amazing fresh scent, taking me to straight to sweet, sweet, springtime.

Argan, the same in word in english, is a tree endemic to Morocco. Another very subtle scent, with an almost hint of a floral, but barely.

Rag & Bone: Resort Delivery!!

Some amazing little gems that you may not be able to live without...

They call it a dinner jacket. I would have just called it a blazer, but now I'm imaging having dinner in it under so many different circumstances! It's a really lovely lightweight cotton double-face cotton gauze, very unlike any other 'dinner jacket' (or blazer) fabric I have ever seen.

One part dominatrix, one part school girl. That sums up most of us pretty well I would say. A fabulous fit, very flattering, and very fun!

We get so many requests for cardigans, and we are always keeping our eyes peeled for good ones for your closet. We love this one for it's texture!! Plus it's cozy.

This cotton blend scarf is amazing because it features a subtle tonal plaid on one side, and is solid on the other. Plus, at $180, and without the whole what-size-to-buy dilemma, it makes a excellent Christmas present.

Available in olive (above), navy (below), and black (not pictured).

Inhabit! The Resort Delivery

The truth of the matter is that amazing American knitwear company INHABIT knows Vancouver women as if they were Vancouver women themselves. Interesting, elegant, and in excellent taste, but casual, everyday and comfortable...

Today's Obsession: NILI LOTAN

We desperately want to know more about Nili Lotan, the woman behind the label of the same name. So far all we do know about her is that she is originally from Israel, she is now based in New York, that her clothing has the perfect polished tomboy feel to it, and that we can't get enough!!

Her collections are always offered in the most gorgeous muted shades, this year we saw lots of a colour that we LOVE to wear: green! Forest green, army green, olive green!

The photograph below is of items that are in stock in Misch right now, but it gives you an idea of what looking at her beautiful collection in the showroom is like.

Many of you who have shopped with us for years will know how amazing her shirts are. Perhaps famous is a word that I could use... cult might be more appropriate? Regardless, they are great. They are meant to be worn a bit wrinkly, which is wonderful because ironing is time consuming (steaming, on the other hand, is incredibly satisfying. Haven't tried it? You will love it. You know where I am, let's chat about the matter). This beauty below came in about a month ago, all on it's own, so it never made it on the blog. We still have an x-small and a small available, but we have lots of her other beautiful shirts in stock only available in medium and large, so something for everyone.

This light wool jacket is classic Nili elegance... long, slouchy, soft and completely uncontrived.

And the exact thing to wear on a chilly November day like today... a cozy cashmere/ merino blend funnel neck sweater.

Phillip Lim Holiday Delivery!

Every season has it's pluses.... and it's minuses! Christmas season is what's around the corner... minuses: it's cold out, and you're so busy you should be able to take the whole month off but you can't (unless you are really lucky). PLUSES are better though. GOING OUT EVERY NIGHT!!! SEEING EVERYONE!!! NEW DRESSES!!!

Anyway, thank god for Phillip Lim's holiday delivery.

Yes, this is the back. Saucy!! And very pretty.

Also saucy!! But saucy with sleeves. This is surprisingly uncommon!

Are these even technically called sequins? They are discs from a sequin family. Whatever.

Yes, this skirt is not from Phillip Lim, it's from BOY!! We know, but we bought this short little satin top especially to go with all those high waisted skirts and skinny pants you didn't have the perfect top to go with, UNTIL NOW!!! We wanted to show you how it's done.

Helmut Lang: More Resort!!

Ok, ok, the leather jacket is just a gratuitous shot because we are so into it, but the silk knit tank underneath IS new, so we are totally just going to post it anyway.

Silk top with chiffon insert on the shoulder. Umm, gorgeous!! This is exactly the sort of top that you will want so badly in December when you have been to 10 parties already, have 5 still to go to and really want something elegant that you know you will use over and over again (that you can actually eat in) that looks cool with jeans but still works with whatever skirt or pant you have to throw on just to survive one more damn party but that will still perk you up enough to get through the night. Besides the fact that we like it, that's why we bought it.

We know that Resort deliveries are all about clothes for going on vacation, but hey, some of us will be staying here in town living our real lives, and it's with that in mind that we picked up this gorgeous water-resistant cotton jacket with a removeable hood and a removable down-filled lining. Thank you Helmut Lang, you just rocked my real life.
