Shoppin' the Resort Sale the Way it Should Be

I always wished you could go online and somehow digitally shop the rack itself. So far, no dice, but here are pictures of some of my favourite items from the Resort Sale on the rack, along with a shot of them on the model.

3.1 Phillip Lim linen cargo dress, in a COLOUR! Day dresses: not just for ladies who lunch, also good for regular ladies who just eat lunch. You'll want some colour when the sun shines, trust me.

Okay, it's true, no shot of this on a model, but this little no-brainer wardrobe staple: the grey cardigan, in the BEST quality of merino wool - should never have made it to sale!

This Rag&Bone cotton 'Dinner Jacket' we think goes as well into late Spring as it does into early Fall. A very versatile jacket! It ran pretty small to size though, so some girls got really rattled, but not you, because you don't care like silly little things like that do you?

This BOY by Band of Outsiders blazer is called the "Schoolboy Cut', and is probably one of our most popular fits from them. You could style it preppy the way we did below: something kinda girly like the mini-polka dot dress with it is so great! You could also throw on the black R13's and a white tank with an edgier shoe and give it a rebellious vibe if you wanted a whole different thing.

We love this dress from 3.1 Phillip Lim! Very rare, but done beautifully here: covered skin = super-sexy. Still here in a size 0 and a size 2, perhaps it was meant for you?

This silky trench dress from Rag&Bone doubles pretty well as a kind-of cardigan-meets-jacket-meets-fabulous wardrobe item. One pair of pants and tank never did so much work if you had one pair of flats, one pair of heels, this, and a black linen cardigan. Weekend in Palm Springs? Consider yourself set.

Ok, this is from now on to be called: the Vancouver jacket. Waterproof wool? That's what I'm talking about! Long enough to be worn as a jacket, blazer details that mean you don't have to take it off if you don't want to. Versatile? I think so, thankyouverymuch. On sale? INSANE.
