The dress to end all dresses!!
What more could you ask for? It's original, elegant, flattering, and dark (but not black). It should be easy enough to think up an occasion - I could see this for a wedding, a fundraiser, a big party at someone's house - OMG I'm not even sure I care where I would wear it - it's so stunning!
